孩子目前读6年级，打算明年申请美国8年级，请问是考middle还是upper的考试。
如果学生要申请寄宿高中，那么一定要考Upper。如果孩子是申请Junior Boarding School（寄宿初中或者是寄宿高中预备班），那么可以考middle。

SSAT的Middle Level

上面的那几位光顾着拉买卖了，连不同的学校对middle和upper包括的年级并不一样都没注意到吗？

Grade 8 is the last year of Junior High School or sometimes known as middle school and Grades 9 - 12 are High School.

从SSAT的官方网站解释是：The SSAT is a multiple-choice test that consists of verbal, quantitative (math), and reading comprehension sections. The Middle Level SSAT is for students currently in grades 5-7; the Upper Level SSAT is for students currently in grades 8 and above.
